On June 14, 2018, Team San Diego Sports Medicine/Zoca finished the 930-mile ultracycling Race Across the West (RAW) in 49 hours and 55 minutes. The 4-person age 60-69 mixed team consisting of Rob Bernhard (SDSM employee), Tammy Tabeek, Greg Campbell-Cunefare, and Larry Nelson came in FIRST in their division, set a division record, and placed THIRD overall. It was a race down to the wire with the first two teams tying for first place only three minutes ahead of Team SDSM. Team SDSM was the oldest team to cross the finish line and gave the younger teams a race they’ll never forget. Special thanks to the hard-working crew: Jo Baxter (SDSM employee), Bob Esch, Kathi Medina, Terry Frey, Jim Keller, and Mike Crawley!
