Program Overview:
- Using one of two proven screening methods, the Golf Performance Program sets out to find potential deficiencies in your body and how they relate to your swing.
- Based on the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) screening and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), the global picture of how your body moves throughout the golf swing will be discovered.
- Additionally, you will be given the opportunity to take a few swings in our hitting bay with video capture to identify any of the TPI Big 15 swing characteristics that may lead to issues with your golf swing.
- Using video capture to enhance the screening process, we can take a slow-motion video and freeze at each position to determine what your swing characteristics are that may lead to injury.
What to expect during your initial consultation:
- Plan for 1 hour of time to discuss the current state of your body and golf game
- Wear clothes you feel comfortable exercising in
- Bring your 6-iron, 7-iron, and pitching wedge
Follow ups:
- One-on-one sessions with Tim will consist of an update on your recent outings on the golf course or range
- Screening of the movements that were identified from the initial evaluation.
- Progress tracking.
- Training of drills and corrective exercises to address your movement deficits.
- Elevating the routines you are working on at home.
- Improving how you feel on and off the course.
- TPI Pro App
- We will utilize the TPI Pro application for your screening process. This will allow us to easily track changes in your body characteristics as you work on corrective exercises.
- The app will include preloaded routines for each body part prescribed to you daily, as well as pre and post training following time on the green
