How to Practice Mindfulness – Take a SIP!

Mindfulness is the act of being present in the moment, rather than focusing on the past or future. Practicing mindfulness allows you to be aware of your thoughts, feelings, and environment with acceptance and without judgment. Why be mindful?? It may contribute to a happier, healthier you by helping you improve focus, reduce stress and anxiety, treat depression, increase the ability to cope and be resilient, and improve social skills.


Throughout our lives, our bones break down and regenerate. When we’re young, our bone mass increases (and we grow) because bone regenerates faster than it breaks down. As we age, however, bone breaks down faster than it regenerates. Thus, we are faced with the risk of developing osteoporosis, or the weakening of bones.
